If you are a software developer working with a lighting distributor, retailer or showroom you can save time and create more complex apps with a Developer account.
No. For Private APIS you can request API keys for each brand directly from the brand. Each key will provide you access to the brand's product data.
For Public APIs (frontend and headless apps) you must request a developer or partner account.
For each type of API you need approval from the brand to access their catalog. CatalogIQ obtains consent for each brand you request access to.
We review each application and will reach out to you within 2 business days for the next steps.
Once approved, each brand requires approval for you to work with their data. We reach out to each brand and they may respond on their own timeline.
We have two types of developer accounts.
Developer: Can access the API for the approved brands.
Partner: Same as a Developer account and also receives referrals.
Approved partners will receive leads by email and within our CRM app from companies requesting to integrate CatalogIQ data service. This includes lighting distributors, showrooms, retailers, and other software service development. CatalogIQ does not handle development requests, we work with Partners to handle end user requests.
To Become an Approved Partner, you will need to submit an example of work with the CatalogIQ API.
No. There are no application or account fees.

CatalogIQ offers 2 types of Industry API Accounts.
Private: You can use these APIs in backend services for syncing data to your software. You can not use this API for headless for frontend applications.
Public: You can use these API keys to develop any type of application. Only approved Developers and Partners have access to public APIs.
